FACE Funding has been approved from United Way/FSS Neighborhood Resource Centers along with outside funding from various businesses and organizations [THE PLAYERS Championship, Kirbo Charitable Trust Fund, Intrepid Capital Management, The Walmart Foundation, Karl Estes Foundation, David Stein Foundation, Jim Moran Foundation, International Rotary, CSX, Adecco, City of Atlantic Beach, Blue Cross Foundation, and many more!]. Thanks to our sponsors the FACE program has been in over 60 different school locations – something works for sure!
Current FACE expanded to the Northeast U.S., outside of Philadelphia in 2012. FACE has spread its wings, as currently in its 20th year providing youth leadership programs to elementary and middle schools.
Current General Assemblies “Building a Community..One Leader at a Time!” are held at various elementary schools during the school year. Black Belt wisdom is shared while “edu-taining” messages of Respect, Helping, Sharing, Focus, and Fun. Vignettes of audience participation and visual principles [jump rope, juggling, karate boards] shared the positive messages – FACE is MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!
